How Do I Complete a Content Scheduling Request?

Once you are ready to "Add Ticket" and have selected the "Content Development Request" option, you will be presented with a form requesting certain information.

Content Development Info
  1. Request Title or Subject
    This is a mandatory field and acts as a simple identifier for the project, e.g. "Halloween 2021 Menu Update"

  2. Brief Request Overview or Description
    Here is a spot to elaborate on that title and give a bit more colour to the overall project and what you need.

  3. Design Brief
    This is where you can get more specific in terms of each piece of content that is required. If you already have something prepared (for example a Word or PDF document) with a detailed design brief, you can provide a link to the document OR use the "Attach a file" link at the bottom of the form.


  4. Links to Media Assets
    If your media assets are too large to attach to the form (maximum of 20MB per file), you can provide a cloud storage link to the files (along with any usernames and passwords) so that we can access them remotely.

  5. Attach a File (at bottom of form)
    If you wish to attach files for your design brief or media assets or scheduling data, please select the "Attach a file" button. You can then select files up to 20MB each to upload.


  6. Submit/Discard (at bottom of form)
    Submitting the Ticket will send it directly to the UR-Channel Content department who will review your request ticket and respond accordingly. If you hit "Discard" you will be informed that your changes have not been save and will be asked to confirm that you want to continue. If you hit "Submit" and have not entered all of the required information, you will be asked to complete the form.

Scheduling and Timing
This section will only show if you have put a checkmark in the "Add Content Scheduling Information" box (see above).

  1. Media Live Date
    Select the date that the content should be live on your digital screens.

  2. Media End Date
    If the media end date is known, enter it here. This should be the last day that the content will be shown on your digital screens.

  3. End Date Unknown
    If the content should play indefinitely or you do not yet know when you wish the content to stop displaying on your digital screens, place a checkmark in this box. The "Media End Date" field will disappear.

Deployment

  1. Locations
    Content can be displayed on all digital screens in your network, only specific screens in your network or all locations except specified locations. Select the appropriate option from the dropdown list.


  2. Details Included In Brief
    If the deployment is more complex than the options provided above, or if it is more convenient to enter the details in the Creative Brief, place a checkmark in this box.

  3. Only These/All Except
    If you have selected either "Specific Locations Only" or "All Locations Except..." under Locations above, you will be presented with a box entitled "Only These" or "All Except" respectively. In here enter the relevant information. For clarity:
    1. Only These
      Stores entered in this box will be the only locations to receive this new content once it has been approved.
    2. All Except
      All stores in the network will receive content with the exception of the store locations entered in this box.
